This Christmas, Donny Hathaway.
I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus. The Jacksons, or any of these they sing.
I love the First Nowel, don't have an artist for this one.
I like Christmas music generally, so listening to it puts me in a happy mood and some songs bring back memories.

Oh Holy Night is probably my top Christmas song.
Carol of the Bells is a pretty awesome one too.
Next would of course be Silent Night to round up my top 3.

I love music in general, but Christmas music is a must for the season for me. At the top of the list is Silent Night. Then I think it's Away In A Manger. And what would Christmas be without Little Drummer Boy!

Any Christmas song performed by the Brian Setzer Orchestra.

Well, there are like 3 or 4 Christmas songs I like, Santa clause Is Coming To Town,
I saw mommy kissing santa clause,
Sleigh bells,
and let it snow!

Brian Setzer is a guitar player who, if I remember correctly, became popular in the late '80s or early '90s with the band The Stray Cats. I've heard his style of music called rockabilly.
Here is his version of Jingle Bells:

O Holy Night is probably my favourite, there are so many great versions. I like Christmas music in general though so am listening to a lot of it this year.

I'm a bit of a Scruge when it comes to Christmas, and that extends to the music. Having said that, the Trans Syberian Orchestra's Christmas music is absolutely fantastic. I do like a few Christmas songs too: Carol of the Bells and We three kings. A few others also.

The Blues Fan made me take a look at that type. Love B.B Kings Christmas celebration.

oh Christmas songs are the best music ever. here are my picks

1. nobody and I mea noone sings a christmas song like nat king cole. that's the chestnuts roasting on an open fire ditty. many have tried none have succeeded

2. anything manheim steamroller does but especially their version of silent night

3. an oldie that most of you have never heard of called the holiday waltz. when I was a kid my mom and dad used to crank that one up and dance around the living room

This gives me a different kind of happiness than my previous. Stings performance of Gabriel's Message

I prefer grand, orchestral music, no lyrics, but if lyrics are involved, 40s/50s era music is best. I get grumpy when I have to hear some new-ish pop version of Christmas tunes, which is too bad, because they're everywhere. LOL

The Boston Pops Sleigh Ride always makes me happy; it's not the holidays unless I've heard it.

Other than that, I'd pick O Holy Night as my favorite over all,, and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.

"Shawdy with you ... shawdy with you ..." You mean that doesn't warm the Christmas cockles of your heart? Parish the thought.

I like religious Christmas music that acknowledge the true meaning of
Christmas. One of my favorites since I became a true Christian is Put Christ
back in to Christmas. I also like stuff like joy to the world and stuff like that.

Right today I've got two, but not least.
Rascal Falts singing White Christmas. The man can simply blow.I'm referring to the lead singer. The Flats is a group.
Whitney Houston, The First Noel. Absolutely beautiful.

Mary did you know and Breath of Heaven are also two I enjoy. Generally I enjoy the more spiritual Christmas music over the Santa/slaybells/party anthoms. Of course I'd also be a complete heathen in the eyes of some CHristians because I get a kick out of some of the very irreverent Christmas songs by Kevin Bloody Wilson and Jenny Talia.

Post 25 by forereel (Just posting.) on Tuesday, 19-Dec-2017 11:30:36

There are some naughty ones too.
Frosty's a Gay man?
Roodolph The Big Booty Raindeer.
You get the idea.
Laughing.

Post 26 by Imprecator (The Zone's Spelling Nazi) on Tuesday, 19-Dec-2017 12:12:42

Only the Kenny G stuff.

Post 27 by Remy (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Tuesday, 19-Dec-2017 15:59:44

Oh there are TONS of dirty Christmas songs.
